TCANZ in June 2014

Here at TCANZ we hope you are all making it through the winter frosts. Join us to warm up at our events in June and July.

In Wellington on June 19th, well-known poet, writer and web content strategist, Rachel McAlpine is presenting on Plain language – from the sublime to the ridiculous! Rachel will share impressions of last October’s conference in Vancouver, PLAIN 2013. Our active Plain English members in Wellington will also make this a great networking opportunity.

And in Auckland on June 23rd, the popular Grant McKenzie is returning with an evening about how to Quick…Make a Video. If you have never created a video, this is the session for you. Grant Mackenzie will briefly run through the steps involved in video creation and then we will all work together to collaboratively create, produce and upload a video. All within an hour!

Coming up in July we are bringing back our Using Microsoft Word – Intermediate workshop, focusing on Word 2013 and taught by the talented Heather Wickham. Based on past registrations, this workshop will fill up quickly in each centre, so please register if you are interested.
