It may not be barbecue weather out there, but there’s enough going on at TCANZ in July to take your mind off the cold.
The earlybird places for the Wellington Microsoft Word Intermediate-Level Workshop have sold out, but there are still places left. Earlybird prices are still available at the Auckland and Christchurch workshops, so book your place soon to take advantage of them.
MS Word is the standard office document-builder in most organisations, and a lot of us (including myself) learn how to use it under the tutelage of those two ancient instructors: Trial and Error. Because of this, we miss out on a lot of the benefits that Word has to offer because we simply haven’t stumbled over them yet.
Heather Wickham will be taking us under her wing and teaching us how to get the most out of MS Word. We’ll be learning how to do things like build a Quick Parts gallery to stash your content in for re-use, create and use AutoText, customise your ribbon and organise your custom tabs within it, create templates, and many more nifty tricks that will allow you to make full use of MS Word.
The TCANZ Conference 2014 is now open for registration. This year’s theme of Communicating Change has drawn guest speakers from around the world giving us case studies and presentations over two days, followed by a day of workshops with Daniel Moody and Carol Barnum.
